It looks so enjoyable and tastes exceptional.

Cheese Cream Cherry Braid
Make a soft yeast Dough (Recipe at the bottom)

 

Cheese Cream Cherry Braid
Let the dough rise and punch down once and let rise again.

 

Cheese Cream Cherry Braid
For the Filling, Cheese Cream, Egg, Sugar and  Pay Filling Cherries.

Divide the dough in 250 gr balls.

Roll the dough out 1/8 inch thick

Place in a cookie sheet and add the Cram Cheese filling in the middle and top with Cherries.

Cut the edges of the Braid

Fold the edges over

Let it rise for 30 min. and than brush it with an egg wash.

Bake it for 35 min at 350 F.

 

Ingredients

Dough:

1 tsp.  Yeast

1/4 Cup Warm Water

1 Cup Warm Milk

1/2 Cup Melted Butter

1/2 tsp. Salt

3 Eggs

5 Cups Flour

 

Filling:

1 Package  8oz Cheese Cream

1/2 Cup Sugar

1 Egg

1 tsp. Vanilla

1 Can Cherry Pay Filling

 

Egg Wash:

1 Egg

1/4 Cup Milk

 

Instruction

For the dough mix all the ingredients for the dough and mix for 10 min.

Let it rise for 30 min. punch down and let it rise for an other 30 min.

Divide the dough in 250 gr balls.

Roll the dough out 1/8 inch thick

Place in a cookie sheet and add the Cram Cheese filling in the middle and top with Cherries.

Cut the edges of the Braid

Fold the edges over

Let it rise for 30 min. and than brush it with an egg wash.

Bake it for 35 min at 350 F.
