These Mazapan Rolls are dangerously good.
I wanted to start eating more healthy but
that didn’t stop me from eating 3 Rolls today.
1 T. dry Yeast
1 T. Sugar
3/4 C. Water
Dissolve the yeast and sugar and let sit for 10 min
1 C. Sugar
1/2 C. Lard
1 T. Salt
2 Cups warm milk
7 C. Flout
1 Box Mazapan (Del la Rosa)
Combine the last 6 ingredients than ad the dissolved yeast water to it.
Stir until dough forms and flour is absorbed. Mix for another 10 min.
Let it rise for 1/2 an hour 2 times.
Divide the dough in 6 equal parts. About 400 gr each. Form into balls.Sprinkle mazapan on the table, place the dough ball over the Mazapan and roll out.Turn over, sprinkle some more Mazapan on the table and roll out to 12 inch.Cut it into 8 pieces , Roll them up like croissant. And place them in a cookie sheet. Let them rise for 1/2 an hour!Bake them at 350 F for 13 min. Be careful don’t bake them to long.Yields: 48
